Collapsed bed

Due to climate and age, one member’s bed collapsed

If you can’t replace an important piece of your household furniture, or just prefer to get things fixed (if they can be) rather than replaced – a local handyman can be the answer.

This was one of our very first service requests, that Steve and son responded too. One member’s bed had collapsed, which was not at all ideal, as all the dowel fasteners in the bed frame had come loose and had either fallen out or broken due to the tropical conditions.

Steve and his son drilled out all the wooden dowel fasteners and replaced them using hi tech polymer adhesive. It took time, but eventually the bed was restored to its original, and more importantly, safe condition.
