You can apply for this card when you turn 65
You must be a permanent resident (or meet eligibility residency requirements) to apply
- $550 prepaid card each financial year
- Free application (online, in-person, mail or email)
- Supporting documents required (proof of identity and residency)
- Apply by 1 May to receive card in financial year
- Cards issued after 1 July
- Must be renewed annually between 1 Jan and 30 June.
