COTA NT (also known as Council on the Ageing NT) is the peak body for Seniors in the Northern Territory advocating for their rights and wellbeing since 1969
Anna arrived in Darwin in 2004 while travelling around Australia and loved it so much she decided to stay. More than 20 years later, she proudly considers herself a long-term Territorian.
She is a community-focused professional with over two decades of experience coordinating events across the Territory, working with a diverse range of organisations including multicultural groups, businesses, sporting clubs, and youth and seniors’ communities.
Throughout her career, Anna has worked closely with NT Government departments, Federal MPs, NT Government Ministers and local Members of Parliament, primarily delivering functions, forums and events across urban, regional and remote areas.
She has also volunteered at numerous expos, festivals and markets throughout the Territory, reflecting her strong commitment to community engagement.
In her role as Events and Activities Coordinator, Anna is passionate about supporting senior Territorians to stay active, connected and engaged through the wide range of programs and events offered by COTA NT.
