Northern Territory Government

SERVICE & PROGRAM FUNDING: COTA NT is supported in the Northern Territory by the Northern Territory Government, who part-fund an agreed Service Plan including advocacy, community engagement including events, programs of social inclusion, education, information delivery and volunteering opportunities. The Northern Territory Government also funds delivery of the NT Seniors Card program and contributes grants for the MASP program, regional COTA Berry Springs and COTA Coomalie’s activities.

Australian Government

PROGRAM FUNDING: The Commonwealth provides funding to COTA NT to enable delivery of the Partners in Culturally Appropriate Care (PICAC) service and Aged Care Navigators Trial program.

Charles Darwin University – Northern Institute

RESEARCH SUPPORT AND COLLABORATION: COTA NT has worked closely for a number of years with population researchers at Charles Darwin University (CDU) on research to better understand the implications from the growing numbers of Territory Seniors. The ongoing partnership has enabled CDU researchers to provided independent research on which COTA has been able to advocate for Territory Seniors.

City of Darwin

SERVICE & PROJECT SUPPORT: City of Darwin provides support to COTA NT through community grant funding and in-kind support. City of Darwin provides assistance and support with a number of other community engagement projects including Seniors Expo and is responsible for the maintenance of the public lawns and car park adjacent to Spillett House.

Event Cinemas

MEMBERSHIP & COMMUNITY SUPPORT: Event Cinemas supports COTA NT’s programs and events for both COTA NT members and the community through attendance at Seniors EXPO, special movie previews and morning teas for Seniors Month and movie pass giveaway opportunities for COTA NT members. Event Cinemas offers seniors the opportunity to join its Cinebuzz for Seniors Rewards Club, which offers members exclusive movie screenings, earn points towards FREE movies and other great benefits including special Seniors screenings of selected releases with complimentary morning tea before the film (find out more about Cinebuzz for Seniors Rewards Club).

Regis Aged Care & Regis Home Care
