COTA NT’s Seniors Expo 2018
“The Showcase Year”

Venue: Palmerston Recreation Centre, 11 The Boulevard, Palmerston
Seniors Expo 2018 was about showcasing seniors’ lifestyle, community and service in the Northern Territory. It included seven active ‘give it a try’ opportunities for attendees (including zumba, seated aerobics, pilates, line dancing). Seniors groups showcased their dance and fitness activities; and the event included a ‘COTA/Red Cross Catwalk’ showcasing fashion and upcyling.
COTA NT’s Patron, Her Honour the Administrator, the Honourable Vicki O’Halloran formally opened the event which included a free morning tea, served by volunteer students from Palmerston College, and a community barbecue by Bunnings; live music by Rocking Bill Roy and the Seniors Sunshine Band, 90 exhibitors and 1 500 attendees and once again, the magnificent contribution of dedicated volunteers.
