Seniors Expo 2021

COTA NT’s Seniors EXPO 2021

Date/ Time: Friday 9 July 10.00am – 2.00pm (free entry for patrons)
Venue: CDU Stadium, Sitzler Netball Centre, 235 Abala Road, Marrara NT 0812
Dress code: To celebrate our multicultural diversity: traditional/national cultural dress (optional)

COTA NT’s sixth Seniors EXPO 2021 celebrates Territorians’ resilience, strength and unity. This year’s Expo shines a spotlight on multicultural diversity and – in anticipation of the inaugural NT Grandparents Day (October) – intergenerational activities. We encourage everyone who attends to dress or accessorise in national dress and bring along their grandchildren, be they 3 or 43!

Thanks to

Posters / flyers

Please distribute to your friends and networks – the more that come along to Expo, the bigger, brighter and better the day! And remember to bring the kids!

There’ll be plenty of posts to share from our social media page too! Remember to check in with us and re-post.

Highlights

  • Free entry to all patrons
  • Free Mindil Beach Casino Resort morning tea and community barbecue*
  • Live broadcast from Territory FM
  • Community Stage/Court  featuring: dances and displays of national costume from Territory multicultural groups, opportunity to join-in and try seated aerobics, line dancing and more!

Programs* for the day

  • Print programs will be available on entry and online here soon
  • A condition of entry is that you may be photographed and give permission to COTA NT to use your image in future event and project marketing. If you do not wish to be photographed, you have the choice not to enter of course. We thank you for your co-operation and understanding in this matter, as we do not have the resources to have everyone sign an individual talent release/ permissions form.
  • Before you are allowed entry to the event, you must comply with current COVID-19 regulations.
  • Please be patient and courteous (Expo is a not short event, so there’s plenty of time to get around). Keep your distance where possible, especially in queues and be mindful of these using mobility aids and looking after young children.
