Strong and Functional

Strong and functional is part of our Fit for Life program, which encourages seniors to stay healthy, grow stronger and to improve their mobility, strength, flexibility and balance.

The class is suitable for all fitness levels. The workouts will be varied and adaptable to meet the needs of each individual participant. Our supportive and encouraging environment will help you reach your fitness goals and improve your overall quality of life.

Each Strong & Functional class will include:

  • A lively warm-up to get your heart rate up and your muscles ready for action
  • Heart-pumping cardio exercises to build endurance and improve cardiovascular health
  • Challenging strength training to build muscle and improve overall power
  • Functional strength exercises to help you tackle daily tasks with ease and confidence
  • Mobility and flexibility exercises to keep you moving freely and feeling great
  • A relaxing cool down and stretch to leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated

Classes must be pre-booked with Sharon via her Superageing website or by calling her.

If classes are full, we encourage other interested participants to join by ZOOM (contact Sharon directly for more information on 0438 890 089). For class schedules and bookings, visit our online calendar (or call us on 8941 1004 during office hours).
