The Australian Government has introduced a service to assist and guide older Australians and their families to make informed choices about their aged care needs and to get the best outcomes from the aged care system. In the Northern Territory, COTA NT is providing an information hub for the Greater Darwin area  and community hubs in Darwin and Alice Springs (both with potential reach into surrounding communities such as Batchelor, Katherine and Nhulunbuy). – Read more about the Aged Care Navigators Trial

  • Live in rural or remote areas;
  • Have a diverse cultural background;
  • Identify as gender diverse;
  • Have limited access to internet or other technologies;
  • Are vulnerable, isolated, homeless, disadvantaged or impaired;
  • Have dementia or mental health problems;
  • Are unlikely to seek aged care support without assistance from others.
