Seniors Voice is a print and digital publication published quarterly by COTA NT – also known as Council on the Ageing Northern Territory – a registered non-for-profit, charitable organisation. It is part of the COTA federation of a national peak body and seven regional COTAs and funded by government grants, sponsorships, membership and donations.
COTA NT has been working towards a just, inclusive, age-friendly and equitable society for all senior Northern Territorians since 1969. The organisation’s mission is to empower older people, those who work with them, government and the community into achieving well-being and social justice for older people. Seniors Voice was published as a community-interest column in the NT News between 2014 and 2019. Since 2020, it has been published by COTA NT online and in limited print numbers.
The content in Seniors Voice is provided from COTA NT staff and local contributors. Articles are attributed to the author as such when non-staff. When content in our publication comes from another source, we attribute that information to the publisher or source from where it comes.
COTA NT does not endorse any particular political party or agenda and as such does not accept advertising from party representatives, parties or candidates. COTA NT does not support any illegal, cruel, hateful, adult, exploitative activities including contraventions of human rights.

COTA NT produces content for the benefit of NT seniors through Seniors Voice and its websites. We provide opportunity to local community groups, clubs and businesses the opportunity to submit editorial and advertorial to us. We also provide opportunity for NT stakeholders to write Letters to the Editor which may feature questions or comment.
