Walking Netball resumes in Darwin

26 May 2020

Great news for our Darwin players – Walking Netball resumes 10 June.

We were very happy to receive the news that Term 2 of walking netball in Darwin resumes on Wednesday 10th June at 9.30am (venue: CDU Stadium, 235 Abala Rd, Marrarra).

If you haven’t heard about Walking Netball before but love to play team sports, but perhaps at a slower pace than you used too, Walking Netball is a great option.

You can check out Walking Netball rules here. It’s a modified version of the usual game, but we know that it’s still a really good workout!

Walking Netball is a health and wellbeing program which caters to all fitness levels. Competitions are run at a slower pace with modified rules. Walking Netball has been designed so that anyone can play, regardless of age, fitness level or netball experience. Netball Northern Territory will be running a FREE weekly competition through Term 2 at CDU Stadium and will provide morning tea. Walking Netball is for men and women over the age of 55. Less
