The day when Katherine seniors take centre stage

13 Feb 2024

COTA NT is hosting its 4th Seniors Expo in Katherine on Thursday 7 March between 10am and 1pm at the Y in Katherine, Henry Scott Recreation Centre on the Stuart Highway.

Make sure you drop by – entry is free to all members of the community and a free morning tea is also provided. But best of all, there are 30 exhibitors ready to talk to you about all those issues and concerns that really matter to anyone aged over 50.

Expo exhibitors will be ready to answer your questions about aged care, caring for someone, mature aged employment and training opportunities, retirement, consumer affairs, scam awareness, legal, financial and banking matters, end of life planning including wills and advance personal plans, concessions on every day living costs, community safety, health services, federal government service and supports even give you top tips on how to get a good night’s sleep (very handy after a big day of conversations).

Expo offers a unique opportunity for seniors to connect face-to-face with service providers, government agencies and seniors’ groups – no waiting on hold, no internet access required, no jargon – this is simple, straightforward conversation in person.

There are still limited places available for organisations or businesses wishing to exhibit. A small registration free applies and registrations close on 22 February 2024.
