PICAC NT is very happy to support and to share the resources published by Meaningful Ageing Australia, which help people to start conversations with aged care providers.

If you are choosing the right aged care it’s important to find an organisation that will see beyond the surface and get to know who you are – know what gives you purpose, know what you believe and know what connects you to life. Make sure they not only see you but know you.

The resources – available in English and in language (we’ve published Chinese, Greek, Italian and Khmer versions of their sharing kit) – help to promote awareness of the importance of people’s stories through posters and offer starting points for finding out your purpose (what gets you out of bed every day) and what questions you can ask aged care providers.
