Open for Consultation: Draft National Women’s and Men’s Health Strategy 2020-2030

On 2 March 2018, the Minister for Health, the Hon Greg Hunt MP announced the commencement of a process to establish a National Women’s Health Strategy for 2020-2030 and National Men’s Health Strategy for 2020-2030. Building on the vision and objectives of the National Women’s Health Policy 2010 and National Men’s Health Policy 2010 – the Strategies will set the strategic direction for substantial improvements in the health of women and girls and men in Australia over the next ten years.

National Women’s Health Policy for 2020-2030 

The draft Strategy is now available online for public consultation and can be accessed at the following link: https://consultations.health.gov.au/population-health-and-sport-division-1/establishing-a-national-womens-health-strategy

National Men’s Health Policy for 2020-2030 

The Strategy will build on the National Male Health Policy 2010 to identify what is required to improve health outcomes for men and boys and provide a framework for action.

The consultations will close on 5 November 2018.
