Sadly due to the decision by the NT News to cease publication of the Tuesday Suns community newspaper in June 2019, we are no longer able to share news with Territorians via the ‘Seniors Voice’ column. Back issues of these columns are available to view on our website. Click here to view Seniors Voice columns.

How we are share our news

We are often asked what we are working on. You can find out by visiting one of our channels:

  • COTA NT News – written from the ‘Desk of the CEO’, this newsletter outlines the advocacy work undertaken by our CEO and COTA NT staff including forums attending, papers submitted, our current programs and events, news of government policy affecting seniors and more.
  • COTA NT Media Releases – we publish our media releases online, but also distribute to our email list.
  • COTA NT Facebook Page – we share news on our Facebook page about our own events and activities, and those from other organisations on our page in a less formal manner. You can visit the page and by clicking on ‘like’ or ‘follow’ to receive our posts in your News Feed.
  • COTA Coomalie News – we have a very active branch in the Coomalie district and their monthly newsletter provides an excellent insight into life in the rural district. Full of event and activity information – you can view issues on our website or sign up to receive a copy directly into your email inbox.
