Have your say in the COTA NT 2018 survey
18 Sep 2018
COTA NT staff and volunteers have been out and about during the last two weeks to assist people fill in the COTA NT 2018 Survey. We have worked hard to make the survey as accessible as possible, catering to as many preferences as possible – hence the survey is available to complete online, download from our website or in print. We have received comments via our social media pages too, but we urge people to fill in the whole survey with their thoughts and concerns, so we can collect and collate as much data as possible and analyse results effectively.
The survey takes about 15 minutes to fill in and includes questions around housing and accommodation, employment and volunteering, health and well-being, transport, crime and security, community engagement, events and activities and asks how familiar you are with COTA NT. It also includes space for your thoughts on what changes you would like COTA to lobby the government for in order to achieve better outcomes for senior Territorians.
As our survey already indicates, COTA NT is interested in the views of all older Territorians, not just those of the COTA NT membership. However, if you are interested in joining COTA NT, your voice combined with those of our existing membership will make us stronger and more influential when we are advocating for an inclusive and equitable society for all Territorians.
COTA NT also works to raise awareness of the contribution seniors make to the community, provides programs, service and support; and administers the NT Seniors Card scheme. You can find out more about the work we do by dropping into Spillett House, visit our website, read our newsletters and by meeting COTA NT staff and volunteers at the many forums, committees and advisory groups we attend.
