Have your say – how much do you value power?
16 Oct 2019
Power and Water Corporation has transitioned over to the National Electricity Rules, with the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) as our national regulator. The AER is now undertaking a study to determine how much residential and business customers value a reliable supply of electricity from the regulated electricity grid. For the first time, they are including the Northern Territory.
In order to develop NT-specific values, the AER needs a sufficient response rate from Territorians. The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete and responses are anonymous.
The results of the Values of Customer Reliability study will help the AER ensure electricity providers invest the right amount in electricity infrastructure, balancing reliability and affordability to deliver power to customers.
The survey is now open and will close on 23 October 2019.
