Submit your event

Each submission is manually reviewed and added to our calendar to ensure information is as relevant and correct as possible. Events are usually reviewed within 48 hours of submission. If your event has not appeared on our calendar or if details of your event need updating, please contact us. 

  • Images can no longer be accepted for event listings.
  • You can also tag us on your Facebook post or event listing (@cotanorthernterritory), so we can share your information to our social media pages.

COTA NT calendar event submission

Name of activity or event.
Encourage people to attend your event by letting them know all the relevant details and highlights.
Short description of your event (about 16 words) that could be used in a printed calendar.
List all dates and start and finish times for your event. If the event repeats, state how (e.g. weekly or monthly etc.) and what the date of the last occurence is.

Note: Only COTA-hosted or sponsored events may feature on the COTA calendar.

Organiser Details

Add contact details here so people can easily contact you directly about your activity or event.

Are you an acknowledged COTA NT Supporter?(Required)

Add one or more phone numbers for the best person to contact in regard to your activity.
If your event is online already, add the URL (its web page) on which details are published).

Booking information

Give as much detail as possible to enable easy booking.
Include any discounted rates for seniors. If there is no cost, state NIL cost.
Are bookings required?(Required)
Is your event or activity funded by the Northern Territory Government?(Required)
Your event will be displayed online with a Proudly sponsored by the NTG badge.

Preferred publication date

Let us know when you want to publish your event. We can schedule listings to appear in advance of the event. Note: Seniors Month events with limited capacity for patrons will only be published at the same time as publication of the printed copy to enable fair access to tickets/spaces.
n.b. We cannot guarantee that your event will be published on the date request.

Social Media

If you want COTA NT to share details of your event or program to its main Facebook page, you MUST follow the page first (if not already done) before adding a tag in your post or comments text field, or send a share event request. COTA NT's Facebook tag is @cotanorthernterritory
