Event organisers for Seniors Month – important update

This notice is of interest to those who have submitted Seniors Month grant applications to run Seniors Month events in August and for those who are running events without having made a grant application.

There is space for ALL seniors events in August to be listed on the online calendar.
In the print calendar, preference will be given to events part-funded by the grants program should space be restricted.

All event organisers are invited to submit details of their event to both calendars online here (https://www.cotant.org.au/events/territory-seniors-calendar/add)

Please note the following updates to the Seniors Month Grant and Calendar schedules

Minister’s Letters sent to successful applications 15 June 2023 – n.b. This date has been revised from 29 May (in the week of)
Grant outcomes published (on Grants NT) 19 June 2023 – n.b. This date has been revised from Monday 5 June
Event registrations close for the print calendar 21 June 2023 – n.b. This date has been revised from Thursday 15 June
Events / service commencement 1 August and completion 31 August 2023.

Based on the revised date schedule, COTA anticipates production of the printed Seniors Month Calendar around 21 July 2023 with distribution to follow thereafter.
