2nd National Plan to Respond to the Abuse of Older Australians – Community focus groups (NT)

17 Aug 2023

EAAA have been engaged by the Commonwealth Attorney-General’s Department to lead an important national research and consultation project to inform the development of the 2nd National Plan to Respond to the Abuse of Older Australians.

As part of the national consultation program, we are seeking expressions of interest from community members to participate in a Focus Group. We welcome people with a lived experience of elder abuse, or have had involvement with someone who has, as well as people that may not have experienced either but would like to raise their views on this issue.

If you are passionate about ending the abuse of older Australians and would like to contribute your views on this issue in a safe and inclusive setting, please submit an expression of interest for the location nearest you.

About the sessions:

Community Focus Group sessions will run for three hours from 10:00am to 1:00pm and include a morning tea break with light refreshments provided.

These facilitator-led workshops are designed to accommodate 35 participants per session, and participants will receive a $50.00 voucher at the conclusion of the session.
