Contact My Aged Care

My Aged Care established by the Australian Government is a national online and phone service to help you find out about aged care services, and what services may be available to help you. There are different types of aged care services to support you, whatever your needs. When you call the My Aged Care contact centre, the staff will ask questions to help understand your needs. They can help you find out if you are eligible for aged care services. You can find out about:

  • services that could help you as you get older
  • how to know if you’re eligible for services
  • who pays for aged care
  • starting the conversation about aged care
  • what else you can do now to prepare for getting older.

My Aged Care Presentation

This presentation was delivered by Judy Ratajec, Team Leader of the Aged Care Unit at the Top End Health Service at COTA NT’s jointly hosted event with the Office of the Public Guardian (NT), Seniors in the 21st Century – Your Rights Explained (August 2018).
