The NTBDA Annual Ball is a community event that provides a platform to showcase Ballroom Dancing to the broader community. The Ball attracts people into and back to Ballroom dancing. The ball includes a fun session of ‘Come On & Try’ progressive dances where local teachers/dancers pass on dance skills to others and attempt to create new interest in Ballroom dancing. Additionally, the many physical and mental attributes of dancing include improving muscle tone and strength, agility, flexibility, balance and mental alertness. It is fun, social and an inter-generational activity. People from all groups are welcome. ‘Young and Old’ will benefit and are encouraged to come and enjoy dance and music.
