Learn to make Danish Christmas hearts and stars, enjoy Danish biscuits, and celebrate creativity and connection
Celebrate Seniors Month 2026 with a morning (9:30am-12 noon) or evening (6-8pm) of creativity, culture and connection as we discover the beautiful Danish tradition of handmade paper Christmas decorations.
Join the Country Women’s Association (CWA) Darwin Branch to learn how to create Julehjerter (woven paper Christmas hearts) and Julestjerner (paper Christmas stars), two of Denmark’s most cherished festive decorations. Whether you are completely new to paper crafting or already have some experience, we’ll have patterns and guidance to suit all skill levels.
