Our Will writing service helps our Members create a simple will online in approximately 10 minutes.

Writing a simple Will to ensure your assets are distributed according to your wishes (rather by intestacy laws) is something we believe every person should have.

COTA NT has partnered with a specialist Will writing provider backed by leading estate lawyers to ensure these Wills are legally valid and up-to-date with current laws.

COTA NT staff are not able to assist you in writing a Will. If you wish to make a more complex Will, you should consult a solicitor.

• You will need access to the internet and a printer 
• Your Will will not be legal until it is signed by two witnesses who must be over 18 years old; not be a beneficiary (or a wife, husband, civil unio partner, or de factor partner of a beneficiary); and must be mentally competent and able to see you sign the Will.
• Executors named in your Will will be notified that you have appointed them as such. You will need to provide contact details for each executor.
• You can let your Executors know where to find a copy of your Will using The Goodbye Guide, accessible in the Members library)
• Details of your Will are not accessible by COTA and your information is encrypted and stored securely.
