COTA NT advocating for and working towards an age-friendly, just, inclusive and equitable society for all Territorians over 50
Stephanie is a seasoned communicator with over 30 years experience in community and stakeholder engagement, marketing, public relations, digital and print publishing in not-for-profit and corporate sectors. She joined COTA NT in 2014 as the Events and Marketing Manager, before focussing on communications and marketing in 2020. Over the years, Stephanie has worked alongside the CEOs to help COTA NT re-establish its reputation and position as the peak body for seniors in the NT.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Honours (Film and Literature Studies) from the University of Warwick (UK) and is currently studying for a Masters in Information Science. She was born and educated in England and has worked in London, Christchurch (New Zealand) and the Northern Territory. Stephanie is an experienced events manager, marketing copywriter, technical writer and editor, working with organisations as diverse as Book Aid International, Marks & Spencer, Scholastic and International Cancer Research Fund.
During her time at COTA, Stephanie’s work has included: development of COTA NT’s programs including fundraising, advertising and membership, creation and management of websites including www.cotant.org.au (incorporating the Territory Seniors Calendar since 2017), ntseniorscard.org.au, ntgrandparentsday.org.au, social media (COTA NT and regional pages), digital engagement hub ntseniorsvoice.org.au, print and digital communications including: emails, media releases, newsletters, ONE COTA, major COTA events (including Expos, Grandparents Day, special fundraisers etc.), event and program marketing and promotions, publications and special projects including: annual reports, Seniors Voice, Is the Territory Age Friendly? Survey 2022, petition To Repeal Section 50A of the Northern Territory (Self Government) Act 1978 (2021), Cyclone Tracy Remembered (print), Seniors Month Calendars, 50 Seniors 50 Stories, Staying Connected (COVID-19 response), Members Only website (est. 2020).
